ORDINANCE NO. 78

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 92, PARKS AND RECREATION, SECTION 92.05 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ORTONVILLE, TO ADD EVALUATION STANDARDS FOR EXISTING AND PROPOSED TRAILS IN VILLAGE PARKS.

THE VILLAGE OF ORTONVILLE ORDAINS:

Sec. 92.05. – PARK REGULATIONS

(A) – (C) no changes

(D)Existing and proposed trail segments are to be evaluated based on:

(1) ADA guidelines where applicable.

(2) The degree to which forest vegetation and topography currently provides a visual barrier and physical barrier between the trail segment and adjacent private parcels.

THIS ORDINANCE shall become effective immediately upon publication.

A true copy of this ordinance may be purchased or inspected at the office of the Village Clerk at the Village of Ortonville Municipal Office, 476 Mill Street, Ortonville, Michigan, 48462, during regular business hours, Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, except weekends and holidays.
