Readers may have noticed someone new around town with a Review notebook and camera.
She’s the new Review reporter, Megan Hess, who joined the staff Nov. 19.
Megan recently moved to the area from the Upper Peninsula. Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, she spent much of the last five years in the Houghton/Hancock area attending Michigan Technological University until her big move downstate.
Megan, who never dreamed of living in such a large metropolitian area, has found a small town niche in Lake Orion. ‘I’m a small town girl through and through,? she said. ‘It’s really important to me to be close to nature and among good people, and I’m glad I’ve found a spot here.? Though she admittedly enjoys being minutes away from Great Lakes Crossing.
Megan graduated from Sault Area High School in 2003 and from MTU in 2007 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree, and currently lives in Auburn Hills.
