Oxford Robotics Team TORC 2137 is teaming up with Sherman Publications, Inc. (SPI) to sell Oxford Leader subscriptions as part of its fund-raising efforts.
For every new subscription, TORC members sell, SPI will donate $6 and for every renewal, SPI will contribute $5 to TORC.
The money raised will help with their robotic build season expenses, according to Spirit Team and Travel Mentor Mary Reynolds.
‘In other words, it’s going to help us pay (a portion of the materials) to build our robot,? she said. ‘We’ve done this fund-raiser the past few years and it’s been really successful.?
Reynolds said this is only one of the many fund-raisers they do each year, but they are always happy to work with SPI
‘We are very appreciative (of) Sherman Publications and their help to us,? she added. ‘Not only with this fund-raiser, but all the articles they publish for us.?
