The Lake Orion Schools Dragon Guided Activities Program (GAP) Summer Track Club will host an end-of-year track meet on August 14 at 6 p.m. at the Lake Orion High School track.
Entry in the meet is open to the public ages two-years-old through adult.
Registration will be onsite beginning at 5 p.m. and the meet will begin promptly at 6 p.m. All participants will need to sign a medical waiver upon registration for the meet. Athletes are also encouraged to bring a full water bottle.
The track meet is free-of-charge. Age categories will be: 4 yrs & Under, 5-6yr olds , 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, high school and adult.
Athletes can compete in three individual events and two relay events. Individual events include: 50-meter,100-meter and 200-meter dashes, 400-meter, 800-meter and 1600-meter runs, softball throw, and running long jump.
