The Orion Township Board of Trustees adopted a resolution authorizing the preparation of the Special Assessment roll for a lake level Special Assessment District for Square Lake after holding a public hearing on Oct. 6.
The SAD is for water quality control by covering the cost of electricity to run a lake pump for Square Lake. Set-up fees for the SAD are $1,039, and the assessment for 2005 (including estimate and set-up fees) is $15,058.
