Safe stolen at club

More than one person was probably involved in the theft of a safe at the Orion/Oxford Boys and Girls Club on Elizabeth Street.
The theft was reported on Sept. 19. Lake Orion Police believe the incident happened sometime during the weekend.
The safe contained an undisclosed amount of money.
According to the police report, the thieves broke several windows to get into the building. Police found dolly tracks leading from the office where the safe was located to an exit door at the west end of the building.
The safe measured 2-feet, by 18-inches, by 11 inches.
LO Police Chief Jerry Narsh is asking if anyone saw anything, primarily on the west side of the building, to call the police department at 248-693-8321.
