Candidates for Clarkston Board of Education have two weeks to register.
Nominating petitions and affidavits of identity are available at the Independence Township Clerk’s Office, 900 N. Main St., 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Forms are also available at the Oakland County Clerk’s Office, 1200 North Telegraph, Pontiac.
Candidates must be qualified, registered voters of the Clarkston Community School District. Forms must be filed with the Independence Township or Oakland County Clerk by 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The terms of board members Karen Foyteck and Joan Patterson will expire June 30. Newly elected board members will serve four’year terms through June, 2012.
