David Kurtz finished tied for sixth place in the golf regional, held Oct. 6 at Flushing Valley. Kurtz finished with 74, tied with Kurt Brown of Flushing. The three top individual finishers qualified for the state meet, held Oct. 14-15. Other regional qualifiers for Lake Orion were Craig Schmehl, who finished with 81, Peter Tinetti (82), and Adam Haddad (pictured) with 86. The Dragons finished tied for 19th in the Oakland County Division I Tourney on Oct. 11, with 331. Kurtz was tied for fifth with 73.
