American Legion Post 63, 8047 Ortonville Road, hosts a Veterans Benefits Seminar, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Oct. 14.
The event features speakers from Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Oakland County veterans and the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home who will talk about veterans? benefits provided by the federal government.
‘We hope for good attendance,? said Tim Currier of Wint Funeral Home. ‘There is a lot available for our veterans in this area. Veterans and their families need this information in order to make informed decisions.?
