Seniors plan extended trip

Good-bye snow and ice, hello warm, sunny, sandy beaches.
The Independence Township Senior Center is planning an out-of-state, extended trip to the Hawaiian Islands from Nov. 10-20.
A free trip presentation with representatives from the tour company and cruise line will be given on Feb. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
When the weather starts to turn cold and Michigan dreary, escape with friends from the senior center. The tour and cruise double per person prices range from $2,279 to $3, 089 depending upon the stateroom chosen. The ten-day getaway includes:
? Round trip air transportation between Detroit and Honolulu.
? Two night star in first class hotel in Waikiki with one day to explore Oahu.
? One week cruise aboard the new Pride of America with freestyle dinning allowing freedom from set schedules and dress requirements at ten separate dining venues.
? Entertainment and activities on the cruise.
? Two days each in Hawaii, Maui, Kauai with tours or activities on your own.
? Second day in Oahu before departure.
? Transfers between airport, hotel and ship.
Please pick up a flyer with registration form at the senior center. A $350 deposit is required upon registration. Call the senior center at 248-625-8231 for more information.
