Oxford Township currently has a contract with the Oakland-Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) to provide home safety devices and chore services for low-to-moderate income Oxford township and village seniors and disabled residents.
Some examples of devices that can be installed are smoke detectors, raised toilet seats and bathtub grab bars. An example of a chore service would be housekeeping.
For more information please contact Pauline Kenner of OLHSA at 248-634-7236.
For anyone looking for information on additional programs available to assist senior citizens and disabled residents, please contact Mary Richway of OLHSA at 248-333-2466.
