Since January, plans had been in the works to remodel a late Victorian Clarkston home and open it to the public as a benefit for SCAMP. Then in mid-July, the owner of the home to be renovated had to pull out of the project for personal reasons. Finding another home wasn’t easy since owners had to move out immediately so designers could get to work, said Anne Mancour, Designer Showcase House Benefit chair.
