A two-car accident at the intersection of S. Washington and Crawford streets earned one driver a ticket and trip to the hospital.
A 50-year-old Oxford woman driving a 2001 Jeep was stopped in the left northbound lane of S. Washington St. while attempting to make a left-turn onto Crawford St.
While stopped, her vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2004 Pontiac driven by a 55-year-old Rochester Hills man, according to the Oxford Village Police report.
The Rochester Hills man was transported by ambulance to Crittenton Hospital and cited by police for failing to stop in an assured distance.
