The Lake Orion varsity softball team was still winless in OAA I after being defeated by Troy Athens on April 18, 2-0. Rachel Traurig had a double, while Robin Roe struck out eight for the Dragons. Lake Orion’s record was 4-1-2, 0-1 before they were to take on North Farmington on April 20, but that game was changed to a varsity/junior varsity scrimmage after the North Farmington team failed to show. Lake Orion played against Farmington Hills Harrison on April 22, winning 10-0 in five innings. Kristin Larsen had two homeruns, while Sam Bell had a double and Nichole Woityra went 2-for-3 with a double. Lake Orion is 6-1-2.
