Softball team still on top

The Lake Orion High school varsity softball team celebrated a triple set of wins May 10-12, defeating Troy Athens and then West Bloomfield in a doubleheader.
On May 10, the Dragons came out the victors, trouncing Athens 11-1 in five innings. Robin Roe was the winning pitcher for Lake Orion, and teammate Kelsey Stout had two hits and one RBI for the team.
Bristel Brumitt had two hits and three RBI, as Amber Agro contributed two hits and one RBI for Lake Orion.
The varsity team squared up against the Lakers at home on May 12, winning both games, 10-2 and 11-2.
Stout again had two hits, including a homerun, and four RBI. Nichole Woityra was a force for the team, with three hits and two RBI.
Roe allowed only four hits and struck out four batters in the first game, and Woityra had three hits in the second game.
Brumitt struck out eight in the second game, and had two hits and three RBI.
