State Rep. John Stakoe has announced that he will sponsor regular coffee hours with state Sen. Mike Bishop beginning this week.
The informal get-togethers will take place the first Friday of each month, beginning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, May 2, at the Old Village Cafe, 2 S. Main Street in downtown Clarkston.
‘The involvement of residents is vital to our system of government,? said Stakoe (R-Highland Township). ‘I welcome the opportunity to hear from people at any time. Knowing how busy people are, I want to offer as many occasions as possible for people to share their ideas and concerns with state government.?
