Adam Hessler, a 1990 graduate of Lake Orion High School, is stationed near Bagdad in Iraq. He entered the Air Force in September 1990 and has chosen to remain as a career officer. He plans on retiring in seven years.
Hessler is a sergeant in the high security division for the military police.
In Iraq, he is the flight chief for two squads totaling 22 men and four women.
Some of Hessler’s assignments have been one year in South Korea in 2000 and he has lived in Maryland with his family for three years while on assignment in security at the Pentagon.
Hessler’s home base is presently in Minot, North Dakota where he lives with his wife Michelle, daughter Brianna, 10, and son Cameron, 4. Michelle recently graduated from Minot State University with a master’s degree in Business Management.
At the present time no packages can be sent to Hessler or his squad due to their assignment. However, all letters are welcome to Hessler as well as his squad.
