Pavement striping work in the village will be done by Hart Pavement Markings. Lake Orion Village Council members on March 28 awarded a $6,000 contract to the Waterford company.
The work includes marking road centerlines, parking spaces, street crossings and street stop bars.
According to LO Village Manager JoAnn Van Tassel, the striping work must be done every year. The money to pay for the striping comes out of the village’s major street fund.
Van Tassel said the work will be done as ‘soon as the weather breaks.?
