Swimmers sink in Wolves? wake

The lady Wildcat swimmers found themselves swimming upstream after a tough 140-46 loss to the Lady Wolves of Clarkston.
The loss brings the ladies? record to 3-3 on the season and 3-1 in the league.
‘It shouldn’t have been a close meet since they are in the red division of the OAA and we are in the blue division,? said Coach Jackie Rank. ‘Losses never feel good though.?
In the 200 Medley Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Liverance, Smith, Giannola, and Curtis took 3rdwith a time of 2:09.15. 200 Freestyle: Danielle Kemp took 3rd’with a time of 2:25.89. Emily Vican and Hannah Schonfeld came in 4th’and 5th. 200 Individual Medley: Bella Giannola took third’with a time of 2:29.63. Sydney Liverance and Emily Vican took fourth’and fifth’respectively. 50 Freestyle: Taylor Curtis came in fourth’with a time of 27.38. Abbie Fredericks took fifth.
‘In diving: Jaynee Butkiewicz came in first’with a score of 207.05. Jenna Zeiter finished in fifth place. 100 Butterfly: Bella Giannola finished in fourth’with a personal best time of 1:05.64. Emily Vican took fifth’place. 100 Freestyle: Allison Miller came in fourth’with a time of 1:03.05. Christina Boydston finished in fifth’place. 500 Freestyle: Taylor Curtis took third’place with a time of 5:55.23. Danielle Kemp and Rachael Baker came in fourth’and fifth’place.

Kayla Krebs finished in fifth’place. 400 Freestyle Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Giannola, Boydston, Fredericks, and Curtis finished in third’place with a time of 4:05.07.
Thursday the girls will travel to Southfield Lathrup for a league dual meet. The meet will begin at 6 p.m.
