May is approaching fast and Clarkston High School Boys Lacrosse is set for their annual Game for a Cure.
‘Last year, Game for a Cure donated over $9,000 to St. Joseph’s Cancer Research Center,? said Vicki O’Grady, Game for a Cure coordinator. ‘Sales from the Game for a Cure T-shirts are the biggest part of our fund-raising effort and we’re hoping to sell more this year.?
They are available now for $10.
T-shirts can be ordered by emailing Kim Kneisel at kk2tall@aol.com by April 16 or can be purchased at Coaches Corner, 12 South Main Street in downtown Clarkston.
‘The shirts this year are being created by Coaches Corner,? added O’Grady. ‘We’re excited to be working with them and keeping it local. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.”
Game for a Cure is May 12, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Clarkston High School stadium. All proceeds from the event go to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Cancer Research Center in Pontiac.
