To the editor:
I grew up in Ortonville and I am still in the area now, for 48 years. Recently I went into the hospital for a simple back procedure and it ended up as a six-week stay in which three weeks were a total blur. Yet I will never forget the outpouring of kindness, concern, and love from this community. My job puts me in a position to meet new people and still see friends from years ago. At one point I had given up, but if it weren’t for everyone I may not be here today. To my children Alycia and Joshua Menshall, my life would be incomplete without you. My love is timeless. Jim and Wanda Egan, I could not have picked better parents. I love you. To my brothers and sisters, I am deeply in love with each of you; thank you. Phadea and Randy Reed, thank you for letting everyone know my situation. Thank you, Amy and Perry Rouse for taking care of that end of town. Thank you to Tom Macgreger, Katie Paister, and Cheryl Harmedlmy. I am truly blessed to have all of you in my life. I am in mend and will be back soon. Finally, my husband Roger Harned for getting over his fear and making me fight for the rest of my life. I love you deeply.
