Dear editor,
All I can say is (our volunteers) are amazing. . . . . . despite the cold weather, snowflakes, and gusty winds, over 90 volunteers (families, parents, students, and friends) arrived at Moose Tree on Saturday to help with our Earth Day Clean Up.
Armed with rakes, shovels, clippers and a lot of enthusiasm, the work was done in no time.
The trails, flower beds, prairie beds and yard have been cleared, raked and clipped. The bird feeders look like new again, the perennials have been cut back and many bags of trash were collected along with over 50 bags of composting.
It is with heartfelt thanks that I want you to know how truly wonderful you are and how very much I appreciated your help. The Moose looks great.
