Dear editor:
A letter to the Seniors of Goodrich High School:
On behalf of the Goodrich Area Schools Board of Education, I congratulate the 2008 graduating class on meeting the requirements necessary to earn their high school diploma.
To the class of 2008’the future is not a gift ? it is an achievement. Your graduation indicates your intentions of improving your future. What does the future hold? The best books are yet to be written, the best paintings have not yet been painted, and the best governments are yet to be formed. The best is yet to be done, by YOU!
Upon graduation, the opportunities and challenges multiply for you. As Henry Thoreau stated, ‘Be not simply good, be good for something.? Make happy and successful lives for yourselves.
