Three vehicles collided Friday afternoon on Lakeville Road, just east of Glaspie St., sending a driver and passenger to the hospital.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report, an 18-year-old Oxford woman driving a 1992 Dodge westbound on Lakeville Road was “unable to stop in time” and rear-ended a 1994 Ford, driven by a 17-year-old Oxford man.
The collision forced the Oxford man’s Ford to rear-end a 1995 Dodge driven by a 16-year-old Oxford man.
The 18-year-old Oxford woman was transported to Beaumont Hospital, while her passenger, a 17-year-old Oxford woman, was transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Neither the 17-year-old nor 16-year-old drivers were injured. The passengers in the 16-year-old’s Dodge – two 16-year-old Oxford men – were also uninjured.
The 18-year-old Oxford woman was cited by a sheriff’s deputy for being “unable to stop in (an) assured clear distance.”
