The Clarkston News has established a new system for sharing the pictures our photographers take. Now you can see ? and purchase ? pictures from the many events and news stories we cover. Viewing pictures is always free.
The engine for the system is provided by My News Photos in Harrisonburg, VA. It allows The Clarkston News to serve readership by answering an often asked question, ‘May I get a copy of that??
Readers may view pictures taken by The Clarkston News’s photographers by going to the newspaper’s website www.clarkstonnews.com. There we have provided a Big Blue Button emblazoned with ‘See and Buy Photos Here!?.
Click on the button and you will be taken to a page with a series of albums shown. Each week The CNews will establish a new album for that week’s photos. Finding a photo you want is as simple as knowing approximately when the event occurred.
The Clarkston News will also establish a new album for each major event covered by photographers. This simplifies the process of finding he photos you want. It also allows The News to share photographs that would otherwise never be seen for lack of room to print them in the paper.
Photos will include sporting events, meetings and other newsworthy activities.
Photos will remain available for at least a year from the time they were first posted. Photos prior to that time may be available on special request.
Though viewing pictures is free, readers may purchase any photo using the easy-to-follow instructions. Prints are available in a variety of sizes. There are even several ways to display a special photo in the form of T-shirts, mouse pads and coffee mugs. Great for gift idea for birthdays, graduation and don’t forget Mother’s and Father’s Day!
