Tomczak challenges Dywasuk for supervisor

Richard Tomczak has announced his candidacy for Orion Township supervisor in the 2004 election.
The 17 year resident of the township is currently a police sergeant in the Oakland Univeristy Police Department. He has been in the law enforcement field for over 30 years.
Tomczak has an associate’s degree, a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Public Administration.
He has served as past chairman of the Orion Township Planning Commission and is now serving his second term as an Orion Township trustee.
Besides being a member of the Friends of the Orion Township Library, Tomczak is s member of the Orion Historical Society and the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce.
As a Republican candidate, he believes his values and concerns are very similar to the residents of the township and village. He targets quality of life, roads, the business community, taxes, the environment, senior citizens and youth as his primary concerns.
Tomczak also believes the township needs new leadership with a vision to address important issues that exist now and may come in the near future.
