Touchdown for love!

The first victory of the 2012 football season was scored Saturday on Oxford’s famous blue turf. But it wasn’t the Wildcats who put one in the win column; it was Addison residents Craig Garrett and Tracy Kramm who tied the knot on the 50-yard line.
The couple desired a truly unique wedding experience and that’s exactly what they got with their football-themed nuptials.
‘This is my first football wedding and it’s outstanding,? said Rev. Sheila Schenk, who performed the ceremony. ‘I didn’t know what to expect, but this is cool.?
‘We’re just so happy the high school let us do it here ? it’s beautiful,? said Groom Craig Garrett. ‘It’s a different kind of wedding, but this is what we wanted. This is a dream come true right here.?
This wedding has been a long time in coming. The two knew each other ? and liked each other ? when they attended Lincoln Park High School in 1980s, but they never dated.
They reunited over three years ago at a street fair. ‘In the back of my head, I always wanted to date Tracy,? Garrett said. ‘When I finally got the chance, I went for it. Touchdown! I got lucky. She’s a good girl. I got really lucky.?
