Orion Township trustees Matthew Gibb, John Stiemel and John Garlicki are holding a town meeting at CJ’s Sand Bar on Broadway in downtown Lake Orion on Jan. 14.
The meeting, ‘Orion Speaks,? will be 9-11 a.m. Coffee, donuts and pastries provided by CJ’s will be served.
In an effort to foster greater communication and participation in the township government, the trustees are ready to ‘open their ears and their minds to the ideas and issues of the area.?
They hope ‘Orion Speaks? will become a regular event with the exchange of open discussion and sharing of community thoughts.
