Residents on Eastview and Vernita Drive have been granted requests by the township to contribute to their road projects.
At the March 3 meeting, the Orion Township Board of Trustees voted to contribute up to 10 percent of the funds for each project. For Eastview, improvements were estimated by the Road Commission for Oakland County at $50,505. For Vernita, the cost was estimated at $84,500.
The township will contribute up to $5,060 for the project on Eastview, and up to $8,450 for the project on Vernita Drive.
