Dear editor:
On behalf of the Brandon Township Board of Trustees and the Brandon Township Recreation Department, I want to thank all of the vendors, volunteers, contractors and Build a Park Club members who made the ‘official? opening of the Brandon Township Community Park a success last Saturday. I would like to add a special thank you to the Ortonville Rotary Club for providing refreshments, the Sherman-Wadarchi- Sutton VFW post #582 for the honor guard, the CERT team for traffic control and Ms. Jamie Lutz for her beautiful rendition of our National Anthem. Thanks to Roger McCarville of Disabilities Today, a PBS television show, for his comments and for filming the event. Thanks to Dan Stencil, Executive Director, Oakland County Parks for his comments as the keynote speaker.
