Atlas Twp.-An 18 year township women is listed in critical but stable condition at Genesys Medical Center following a two car collision at about 5:30 a.m., Feb. 13, near M-15 and Collidge Road.
According to Genesee County Sheriff reports, Corinn Linkowski was traveling northbound on M-15 in a Saturn sedan and lost control of her vehicle sliding sideways into the southbound traffic lane. A GMC pickup truck driven by a 27 year old man was southbound and struck Linkowski’s vehicle on the passenger side.

Both vehicles came to rest on the west shoulder of the road.
Linkowski was trapped in her vehicle and removed by emergency personnel. The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries. The weather at the time of the crash was poor with falling and blowing snow with slush on the roadway. It is unknown if excess speed was a factor. Early indications are that alcohol was not a factor.
