Traffic survey of N. Oxford Rd. April

Oxford Township Supervisor Bill Dunn wished to inform the residents of N. Glaspie St. that the traffic survey to review the speed limit on N. Oxford Road, south of Ray Road, has been scheduled for Friday, April 16.
A group of N. Glaspie St. residents has requested the speed limit on N. Oxford Road be reduced from 50 to 35 miles per hour between the middle school and village limits.
Representatives from the Road Commission for Oakland County, Michigan State Police and Oxford Township will meet at the intersection of N. Oxford and Ray Roads at approximately 9:45 a.m.
Dunn said the N. Glaspie St. residents are invited to attend this meeting/survey and provide input regarding the traffic situation.
‘Questions, complaints, suggestions, ideas ? whatever you want to say, they’re here to listen,? he said.
The supervisor said he has already informed the village government of the survey’s date and time. The Oxford Village Council passed a March 23 resolution requesting the speed limit on N. Oxford Road be lowered from 50 to 35 mph.
Residents with questions about the survey can contact Dunn at (248) 628-9787.
