Oxford Township officials last week approved the millage rates to be levied on the Dec. 1 property tax bill.
Property owners will be assess 0.95 mill for township operations, 0.8538 mill for parks and rec. services, 2.9152 mills for police, 1.5 mills for fire, 1 mill for Advanced Life Support and 1.3982 mills to support the Oxford Public Library.
A mill is equal to $1 for every $1,000 of a property’s taxable value.
Officials also approved levies of 0.86 mill to retire the fire bond debt and 0.42 mill to help pay off the library bond debt.
