Santa has been a very busy man in Lake Orion, and was the center of attention at the Lake Orion Lion’s Club Third Annual Special Needs Christmas Luncheon at the Community Education Resource Center (C.E.R.C.) building earlier this month.
80 students aged preschool to 26 were invited to the holiday party hosted by the Lion’s Club, who fundraised in order to purchase exactly what each of those kiddos wanted for Christmas.
Lion’s members led the students in Christmas carols, passed out Christmas brunch donated by local businesses and showed what working for the Lion’s is all about: good old fashioned fun.
‘It is truly a blessing anytime the community and schools come together to celebrate our students.? The Lion’s Club is an organization that is wonderful to work with every time.? They go above and beyond for our students and we enjoy this party as much as they do.? We have created a long lasting partnership and many friendships. Thank you to all the Lions!?
