Spray paint vandals struck again; this time painting the image of a woman’s face on Clarkston City Hall, this past weekend.
Bob Pursley, Department of Public Works director, said the grafitti is similar to the stencil sprayed onto the side of the Clarkston News building last month.
City Manager Dennis Ritter is looking into security cameras for Depot Park.
“Maybe an infrared camera just during the dark hours,” Ritter said at Monday’s City Council meeting. “It’s a continual headache.”
Pursley also recently cleaned up vandalism around the park, including broken railings on the wooden swings, damage to the upper railing and spindles of the gazebo, and shattered glass bottles.
He called Oakland County Sheriff’s Department last week and requested extra patrols to curb the vandalism, which he believes has returned to the park early this year due to the warm weather.
