The Lake Orion varsity boys basketball team celebrated victories last week over Ferndale and Bloomfield Hills Lahser.
On Jan. 18 against Ferndale, the Dragons won 61-47, with Drew Maynard leading the scoring with 18 points. Chris O’Dea had 15, while Neil Medchill had 10 for the team.
On Jan. 21 against Lahser, Lake Orion slipped by, 75-71, with O’Dea scoring a game high 34 points. Medchill had 17, while Marc Thompson had six points for the team.
Orion’s record is now 7-4, 3-1 in OAA III.
