Varsity softball 2005

While the Clarkston softball team lost significant numbers from last year’s team, which rode a 25-15 record to the State semifinals, new coach Don Peters hopes the Wolves can learn on the run this year.
‘I know it sounds corny, but we just want to get better every game,? said Peters.
Peters feels the team’s strength will be their defense in the infield especially at shortstop and third base. Amber Giroux and Katy Kleinedler will be counted on for leadership throughout the season.
The two teams which Peters feels the Wolves will have to watch for in the league this year are Troy and Lake Orion.
Upcoming games for Clarkston Wolves varsity softball: (All games are played at 4 p.m. unless otherwise noted) 4/16 at Farmington Mercy Tournament (time TBA); 4/18 at North Farmington; 4/20 vs. Waterford Kettering.
