The Lake Orion varsity volleyball team defeated Ferndale in three matches on Jan. 3.
The Dragons won, 25-11, 25-19, and 25-17, and lost one match, 23-25.
The team was led by the 10 kills of Katie Fosmoen, and the 11 assists of Sarah Brown.
Ellen Deuparo had eight kills, and the team was also assisted by the outstanding serving of Kristin Larsen and Nichole Woityra.
Lake Orion played at Central Michigan University on Jan. 8, and host West Bloomfield on Jan. 13.
