The Lake Orion varsity volleyball team lost no momentum last week as they defeated Royal Oak Kimball on Feb. 7 and Ferndale on Feb. 10. Against Kimball, the Dragons won by scores of 25-12, 25-10 and 25-22, and lost one, 25-21. Nichole Woityra (right) was 19 of 20 serving with 17 assists, while Kristin Larsen had 15 kills, and Katie Fosmoen had 12 for the team. Against Ferndale, Lake Orion swept with scores of 25-16, 25-19 and 25-18. Woityra had 11 assists, and Hilary Conklin was 16 of 16 serving. Melissa Marriott had four kills for the Dragons, who went to 17-9, 9-3 in OAA II.
