Lake Orion School District celebrated the beginning of the 2005-06 school year by inviting the entire staff of over 1,200 employees to a ‘kick-off? breakfast on Aug. 25.
It took place on the new bond-funded high school athletic field. The focus of the event was to welcome new staff and to celebrate the accomplishments of all the staff and the district. The program also featured the Lake Orion High School Marching Band and cheerleaders.
‘Lake Orion Community Schools is truly an exemplary district and our staff deserves to be recognized and celebrated,? LO School Superintendent Chris Lehman said.
