William ‘Bill? Whorton, Jr., of Brandon Township, died March 5.
He was 71.
Bill was born October 12, 1935 in Smithland, Ky., the son of Lawrence and Ethel Whorton.
He was the husband of Marilyn Jean; father of Dale (Kathy), Kimberly (George) Sikwa, Sheri (Scott) Gallagher, Matt (Jenny), and Jonathon; grandfather of 11.
He was retired from St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital after 36 years of service and attended Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, collecting records and his family.
A memorial celebration was March 9 at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home in Waterford.
