Oakland County Commissioner Eric Wilson was appointed to the Brownsfield Initiative by Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. As a member of the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, Wilson will help the county clean environmental sites that will be used for development.
By securing grants and loans, he will be assisting members of the business community to redevelop these land sites. He is the only commissioner to serve on the seven-member authority.
