Easter Seals Michigan and Rudy’s Market host Cheers for the Holidays wine tasting, 6-9 p.m., Nov. 27, at Clarkston Mills.

With over 500 people in attendance, Clarkston Rotary Club raised money for local and international projects.
‘I felt it was an excellent evening. All feedback we’ve had has been extremely positive,? said Rotary President Brad Evans. ‘The local restaurants really helped make it a true local success story. It’s something most people look forward to every year and we will continue the tradition next year.?

Clarkston Rotary Club hosts ‘A Taste for the Holidays,? featuring wines from around the world and food from 13 local restaurants, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Bordine Nursery.
This year’s Rotary Wine Tasting Fundraiser also includes a silent auction to the drop box auction. Auction items include a night’s stay at Chateau Chantal Bed and Breakfast in Traverse City and a ski pass entitling the winner to ski one time at each of the participating ski areas during the 2010/2011 ski season.’Also included is one free ski tune-up, with edge sharpen and wax, at participating MSIA ski retailers. Offered also are $700 worth of gift certificates to local restaurants.

Clarkston Rotary hosts Taste for the Holidays, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, at Bordine Nursery, 8600 Dixie Highway. Tasting features wines from Australia, California, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa, and Spain, along with foods from 12 local restaurants. Proceeds support Clarkston Rotary’s local and international projects.
