The Lake Orion Dragon hockey team suffered a sad defeat when they lost their last regular season game to their biggest rival: the Clarkston Wolves.
In the first quarter, Lake Orion scored one point and Clarkston scored two. During the second quarter, Lake Orion scored another goal to even up the score, 2-2. The score was still tied at the end of the second quarter.
In the third quarter, Clarkston scored again giving them a one-point lead and making the score 2-3.
In the last minute of the game, Lake Orion Coach Pat Cherry made a risky move by pulling the goalie in hopes of scoring another goal to tie up the game.
Unfortunately, luck wasn’t with the Dragons as Clarkston scored again, making the score 2-4 and they went on to win the game.
Lake Orion’s defense tried hard to shutdown Clarkston. Even when the team was losing, the fans were very supportive up until the very last second of the game.
