Local Optometrists Drs. Staniszewski, Clancy, and Bush, are joining the World Sight Day Challenge during October to help give the gift of vision to people in developing countries.
On World Sight Day, Oct. 13, the doctors at Advanced Eye Care of Michigan, 7117 Dixie Highway, will make a donation to provide eye exams and glasses to children and adults in need in developing countries.
‘This is our first year supporting Optometry Giving Sight and we’re proud to donate to such a worthwhile cause,? said Dr. Staniszewski.
‘My staff has really stepped up to take responsibility for this cause. They’ll be making donations of their own every Thursday, and in turn they will be able to wear jeans and tennis shoes to work.”
They will also have a book drive to raise money. Make book donations at the office.
