Lansing — On Dec. 3 the Goodrich Martian Girls Varsity Basketball team opened the 2024-25 season with a win over the Kearsley Hornets 67-25 in a Flint Metro League game at Goodrich.
GHS #12 Kayla Hairston was the leading scorer with 18 points and five rebounds. GHS #4 Baylor Lauinger tallied 15 points and eight rebounds with four assists; GHS #1 Ella Place had 13 points, GHS #22 Tanner Schramm 12 points, five rebounds and three assists. GHS #3 Kamy Lauinger five assists and four rebounds.
