The Orion Township Board honored volunteer Morris Cucksey in July for his over 20 years of service to the community.
Cucksey served on the Orion Community Cable Communications Commission from 1986-1994 and 1995-2007, as well as the Union Church Governing Board from 1998-2007.
He announced his retirement from both organizations earlier this summer.
