Crossroads for Youth recently announce the appointment of three new members to their Boards of Directors and Advisors.
James Ryan, a resident of West Bloomfield, was appointed to the Board of Directors.
Ryan is Director of Communications and Corporate Marketing at Daimler Financial Services in Farmington Hills. He is responsible for all of the company’s internal and online communications, public and community relations, and corporate marketing/events and design in North and South America.
During his career, Ryan has built effective and productive relationships with not-for-profit groups in the arena of corporate social responsibility.
The Reverend Joyce M. Matthews, a resident of Farmingston Hills, was appointed as Advisor to the Board.
Rev. Matthews is an Episcopal Priest at Christ Church Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills. She has extensive management and administrative experience in health care, academic and religious environments.
Rev. Matthews has held positions at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Evanston, Illinois; St. John’s Episcopal Church in Royal Oak; Providence Hospital and Medical Centers; Detroit Receiving Hospital and University Health Center; and Highland Park Community College. Rev.
Brewster Moore, a resident of Oxford, was appointed as Advisor to the Board.
Moore is a member of the faculty at Cranbrook Schools in Bloomfield Hills. He emphasizes character development and community service in his role as an advisor to students.
Previously, Moore was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Wayne and Oakland counties, specializing in domestic violence and juvenile cases.
