It’s that time of year again when residents gather in Centennial Park to hear great tunes and enjoy delicious food.
Beginning June 19, the 2008 Oxford Downtown Summer Concert Series, previously known as Concerts in the Park, will be every Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and feature local artists/bands from all over Oakland County.
As always, parking and admisson are free.
Kicking off the season this week will be Robin Moore and The Northstars.
The Oxford-based band’s forte is a mixture of Americana, Roots Music, and Country music. Members of Robin Moore and The Northstars are Robin Moore and her husband Tom Moore, Garry Valentine, and Oxford High School’s very own 2007 alumnus, Evan Profant.
