Hats off to LOHS boys? baseball

The Lake Orion boys? varsity baseball team won against next door opponents Oxford Wildcats in the playoffs, but things went south for the boys with their rematch against Rochester Adams.
Saturday morning started off with gnashing of teeth for the Wildcats, with a 16-1 win for the Dragons.
While mercy wins are difficult to come by even once, the Dragons accomplished three mercy wins this season altogether.
Eric Knoblock was the pitcher for three of the five innings in this game, and he struck out three batters.
With this win, the Dragons went on to play Rochester Adams.
Their first game against Rochester was put on hold on Friday, May 8 after playing ten innings with a 12-12 tie.
But the Dragons lost this game, 13-1. And this time, Rochester was the team with the mercy win.
Credit goes to Aidan Murdock for scoring the home run in the game.
The Dragons had a great season with a 21-11 record.
This team, which started out as the underdogs, surprised many opponents this season with win after win.
As player Andy Mosier said, the varsity baseball team started off slow because they were a young team. But with the end of the season, they are no longer the young team they started out to be.
